Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is about Harry's sixth year. I mean, come on, I don't have to tell you the rest! Yanno, Dumbledore, Horcruxes, NEWTS, romance, all of that!
This is my favorite Harry Potter book. I mean you have all the strange memories, lotsa Voldy Voldemort and Dumbledore, suggestive things about Snape, heart breaking scenes, big surprises (although a friend spoiled me for the biggest), and expertly added dashes of romance. JK outdid herself. I did prefer Goblet of Fire's plot, but this one gets more points for writing and characters, which are the most important areas in a book for me.
