June 24, 09 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I'm not going to bother this time. Honestly. Sirius, Dementors, Cho Chang and Umbridge! You should know this! They made the movie!


I really liked this one, JK's writing was excellent as always. I'm also happy with how angsty Harry is being. Rarely in a novel does a character act out every time I want them to, and it was nice to get that in a book for once. This is not one of my favorites though. I sort of feel like JK added in the last part because she realized nothing was happening. The ending was heartbreaking and I loved the discussion between Dumbledore and Harry at the end. Still amazing, just not my favorite.
